I agree with everything you said, Tina. I can remember being in spaces I didn't want to be in, three of us crowded around the borrower's computer. And most folks nowadays don't even own a computer - they do everything on their phone or maybe a tablet. In past years I did a few e-closings where I took my laptop and had to get connected onto the borrower's internet (easier said than done - many folks don't know their wifi password; remember, these are the very same folks who can't make a photocopy of their ID because their printer is "out of ink". I didn't like e-closings back then and I'm not planning to do them now. I'm sure the fees offered will not be increasing for them either. |
