ISGN is a title company just to clarify. While it's nice if someone calls to tell you the docs were sent and go over any last minute details, this doesn't always happen. I am not going to lose my mind over it. I emailed them and also left a voice message and have not received a response to either. Instructions had the box check for 'fax required' --said it was required if same day funding or if required by lender. I intend to drop the docs this afternoon, so I figure if I don't hear anything we are good to go.
I did the signing, tried to contact them, and not sure what else I can really do.
As for asking 20 questions when someone calls to schedule, I don't do that. When asked my fee I give my base fee for a standard refi with edocs and explain that there will be an additional fee if the package is over 150 pages or if there are any special instructions. Times being what they are right now I will sometimes agree to less if it is close by, a small package, etc. I have been doing this for almost 15 years and that works for me 99.9 % of the time. The surprises that come after the package is received can usually by worked out. I don't automatically assume they are trying to pull a fast one on me, they usually are not.
