If the scope of the job changes after you accepted it, you should renegotiate the price or turn it back.
I saw a post that included a series of excellent questions you should theoretically ask before you accept a job, but my guess is that they will hang up and move on to the next NSA before you get half-way through that list. The job of a scheduler is to schedule jobs - they probably don't have any idea about the questions you want to ask, and couldn't care less. Their job is to get the assignment filled, period. All you are doing by asking those questions is slowing them down, and they will move on very quickly.
That being said, once you accept an assignment you have a right to believe that there's not additional stuff involved that you weren't told about initially. "Oh, by the way.." is not an acceptable excuse for requirements they "forgot" to tell you about. If the scope changes, the job changes - do not be afraid to turn back a job that will result in you losing money if they refuse to renegotiate. |
