and would call the court clerk to see what the problem with the Will and/or notarization is. I don’t know what the legal and/or financial repercussions would be if something you did or didn’t do voids the Will and you chose to do nothing. If it were me, if it’s something as simple as filling out a statement that I did witness and notarize the execution of the Will, even if it were an inconvenience, I’d most certainly go to the courthouse and take care of the problem.

 VA is not a "witness" state either, but witnesses are -  MW/VA on 3/21/19 10:25am
