Post-dated Documents ...
Posted by Yoli/CA of CA on 8/7/18 6:38pm Msg #596855
So, I have a signing for tomorrow (8/8/18) morning. Got docs, printed and was in the process of prepping when STOP EVERYTHING -- noticed docs are dated for 8/9/18. I contact borrower who informs me that he's expecting to sign tomorrow (his wife is signing tomorrow in Houston, TX), lender and agent are expecting them to sign tomorrow. I email SS with this info.

Had flashback of several years ago when I had a RUSH JOB signing for same day; we get 'er done; get call from SS next day that it has to be resigned 'cause docs were dated for next day.

SS responded to my email saying: Per Title -- everyone's signing on 8/8 and this will not fund 'til 8/9. I responded: okay, but my notary certs will be dated 8/8.

What's your opinion?
