This happened to me twice this week. It's not like I'm showing up out of the blue - I personally don't ask to see ID for a service provider that is meeting me at my request. When I schedule service from the cable company I don't require to see the tech's ID when they show up at the scheduled day and time that I requested and initiated. I complied both times but apparently I acted annoyed the first time because the borrower complained to me about it. I'm going to have to start carrying my passport with me because I don't like showing my D/L that has personal address on it. Same guy that complained wasn't satisfied just seeing my notary stamp - he wanted to see my ID. He was a jerk the whole closing - it was almost a tit-for-tat with him. Oh you asked me for mine and now I need to see yours. |
