I used to do work for what I always referred to as "my senile bankruptcy attorney" and I was afraid I was tied into something because of an action on his end.
He has operated several companies, two of them being TS Connections and Title Stream. I was always paid well and quickly -- of course, that was before the mortgage crash of 2008. That is when I got out of the signing biz, so I don't know the details of his demise.
In a nutshell, they have filed a motion to reopen the bankruptcy case because of damages he has incurred as a result of the discharge injunction.
It is a legal formality that everyone that has ever been paid by him is notified. If anyone is owed any money, the Judge's Order is not meant to mean they will receive any compensation from them. |
