First I've heard Notary Required to Provide 2 witnesses
Posted by BobbiCT of CT on 8/12/16 11:46am Msg #558047
Next time, ask the company how much they are paying each witness for his/her time and travel. Do NOT take the "you have to pay them" or "we pay $5, which you must pay them and we'll reimburse you" answers.

CT is a witness state; I am always telling borrowers they need to provide witness. Never had a problem with lender or title insurance company on this. The rare time the borrowers REFUSE to provide a witness, the borrowers must come at a time and location convenient to the WITNESS.
