beautiful home by a lovely lady. House decorated quite nicely for Christmas. She is a quilter and every bit of free space was decorated with a handmade quilt. She had just finished hosting a "happy hour" for neighbors and friends when I got there. Still wine, cheese, fruit, quiche, and other appetizers out. Did I want to partake of anything? No, thank you. I don't say it, but, I just never feel comfortable eating or drinking at a signing. House smelled of wonderful cinnamon.
Sure beats the hoarder house from last week, the guy with the 2.5 foot lizard, and the 4:00 yesterday that was a "no show". He had no idea I was coming with loan docs and his wife wasn't home. I never got a return confirmation call from the wife, but, the SS said show up any way. At least they're paying a trip fee.
