That is wrong and if the atty that is having you do this, if the state of GA finds out that the atty is doing this they will lose their law lic for doing so, GA changed its law from doing this in July 2014, and now only a GA atty can handle real estate transactions. A GA notary can do a closing in GA only if it is a non GA property.
