I have been closing loans for over 12 years, and have never seen a W-9 for a non-borrower spouse.

My bad that I didn't have him sign it.

 I agree. If it's in the pkg. we get it signed. It's not up -  MW/VA on 6/15/17 6:40pm
 If it is a joint return they might think they need it - jnew on 6/16/17 11:10am
