When I first started, I would tag each signature line and notary line so that I wouldn't miss anything. If I had time, I would also log in the documents that needed to be notarized prior to the appointment. It takes a lot of time doing tagging and doing the journal entry for each package before the appointment. I've been a notary for 2 years now and I no longer tag anything or get a jump start on the notary journal prior to the signing. I am able to do the signing and journal in 45 mins to an hour. As far as the critical docs. I use bright color paper to insert in the package so that I am able to find the critical documents quickly at the signing. If scan backs are needed, then I know exactly where each critical document is and everything stays in order. |
