It is highly unlikely that unsecured creditors, such as yourselves, will see any money. As those do get paid, if the debtors assets are sold, are the priority secured creditors.

Debts owed that are $100 or less are usually discharged, no matter what they are.

However, I'd suggest that if anyone has any suspicion (evidence would be great) of criminal activity done by this couple, should make a complaint to the AG office in their state. Couldn't hurt as you have nothing to lose.

Hiring an attorney, is also a very good idea if you can find one that will represent you all as a group. Something to definitely look into as these scumbags shouldn't get away scott free!
