There needs to be wording to tell a notary what kind of notarization is needed. We can't determine what was notarized with a stamp adjacent to the signature and if challenged I'm betting the document (whatever it is) would be rejected.
I keep stamps with wording for three types of notarization as well as forms. I would have them tell me what is needed before using the stamp. No guessing or suggesting from my part. Stamps or impressions accompany the wording and signature, not just the signature. If a form is used it gets stapled to the documents. There should be no question about where that notarization came from. |
