can I notarize a deed for parents?

I'm sorry if this has been posted previosly.
My parents inherited a property from a friend. They are in progress of getting property transferred/recorded to their names. As a notary, can I notarize quit claim deed for them ( from estate to them)? I am not on the deed nor do I benefit from the transfer.
