Please don't count on XYZ to give you correct information. That's why I never renewed my "certification" with them. Their test answers were wrong for my part of the country. Plus, every time I did call them when starting out my business sixteen years ago, they either didn't give me the right answer or said to contact my state SOS.

You can get the best answers here from the seasoned professionals on Notary Rotary forums. (plus contact your state when in doubt)
