Plus, in my experience, the EO recommendation has to be from a local branch.

What happened in my case: I had a recommendation from an EO in a Truckee, CA branch -- same state but 82 miles away. Upon submitting recommendation, I was told by Fidelity that I would have to procure recommendation from branch local to me. (talk about frustration!!) After years of being told they were currently not adding notaries in my area. I had finally gotten past that point only to be told of another glitch. Then Divine intervention ... had a signing with borrower who just happened to be EO who liked my work. Wink
