National Cyber Security Month
Posted by  Cheryl Elliott of CA on 10/13/18 9:27am Msg #599367
After weeks of trying to resolve a virus attack on my own laptop, I finally sought out a professional to clean it up and make it safer. I just received this notification from a UCSB task force encouraging everyone to take greater steps toward keeping your PCs safe from fraudsters.

Also, as I was reviewing my tax return due on Monday, October 15, my CPA asked for a copy of my drivers license, a new requirement of tax preparers. Any one else heard of this? It's the first time in 32 years I've been asked for my ID. Fraudulent tax returns are at an all time high apparently.
