My father is a CPA, and his advice was to not go the corporate route, because if then have to file corporate tax returns and annual corporate reports.
Instead, I have a fictitious name registered, and operate as a sole proprietorship. I have a Tax ID number for the business. But instead of having to file a separate tax return, I can report all of my business on Schedule C. This works for me, but I would definitely speak to a CPA or financial advisor before incorporating. |
