Obviously, Notary Public services don't require an LLC or corporate arrangement. You are considering this for your other businesses, including as a signing agent and document courier.
Not a CPA, but hang out with A LOT of tax attorneys, one thing I hear: There ARE changes to the INCOME TAX laws that took effect in 2017 and, in theory if Congress doesn't change them again, for the future. Not knowing your business circumstances, your CPA who has intimate knowledge of your business and long-range business plan may be looking at it from the perspective of the CHANGE in income tax laws and allowable business deductions (personal or LLC business vs. corporate business deductions) that have come along.
You, your CPA, and your tax attorney are the best team to make this decision. |
