I haven't researched this - and I'm no coder, or even close - so much of this is over my head. However, when I read Sue's first post, I assumed she was talking about a 'certificate' to be used as an electronic template, with each presumably varying by the date and name(s) of signer(s), at minimum. Can this be what you're talking about - or am I just way off? Or could it be that the use of the term 'certificate' means something completely different in this context?
I took a look at the link you provided, Gerald, and I had no idea what I was looking at!  Further inspiration on my part to not get involved in e-notarization. (Although I strongly suspect that once the kinks get worked out, we won't need to get that far into the weeds to use it. I certainly hope so, for everyone's sake! LOL!) |
