You're right....no doom and gloom and NO, the industry isn't going totally electronic soon. We refinanced recently, closed last November. We signed docs at the escrow office....standard stack of docs...took 40 minutes. Fancy escrow office, too. CA won't spend the money to record deeds electronically....pr spend money, period......always crying "broke" and taxing us to the citizens are practically broke.
