| Amish & Mennonite sects. Some follow the old order strictly, and others have accepted some modern ways. There is also a Mennonite community here in Va. Beach. Most still dress in the old ways--plain homemade dresses & prayer caps. They have a bakery at our local Farmer's Market & I can still get things like Shoofly Pie (rich with molasses if you've never had one). ;-) |
