I got the same one. Anyone with any sense would be more specific than saying "here in CA..." My Spidey sense is getting better at sniffing these out.
Having said that, over the years that I've been in this business, I have received legitimate requests with virtually all of the same errors mentioned by both Yoli and LD. But times have changed and I'd rather risk missing an assignment than risk having my computer trashed by a virus, worm, etc. I've just learned that when I get a questionable email, I need to do lots of checking using independent sources.
But, like Yoli, I didn't bother checking out the one from "Tammy". There were too many red flags. And except for the name of the state and the name of the sender, it was the same as the one Linda got... |
