I'm not sure how that would work with notary signing agents, since almost all of us work for multiple companies. You can't be an employee of all of them and have all of them take taxes out of your pay and give you employee benefits. They still wouldn't be able to control who we work for or what hours we work. It would make no sense to try to make us employees.
