That is somewhat out of the ordinary. That being said, a couple of possible scenarios come to mind:

1. They thought they were approaching an Oregon notary
or
2. Very poor planning on the LO's part required docs to be signed in UT and delivered to OR this weekend. If this were the case and you're up to a 10-hour one-way drive, name your price! Wink
