| A lender pays about $65/verification of borrower's employment/income. Double that if 2 borrowers. They usually do 2 of these per loan. 1 at application & the 2nd just before closing. So $260 is spent/loan and it's ALL done in minutes electronically. Notaries are in the wrong business. |
