A very excellent article, thank you for posting, Janet. People are finding creative ways to purchase as well, or to build ADUs on their existing property to raise the property's value, then pull equity out to help their children purchase homes.
It's often not what you pay, but how you pay. Private money loans, cross collateralization loans, gift loans, co-borrowers for the credit app qualification and other creative financing modes are being used these days, with the hope that lending interest rates will come down soon. I spoke with my financial advisor yesterday, and she had some interesting things to say about asset accounts. We are in interesting times. RE is still the best way to garner wealth. |
