Agreed - I was confused by the explanation the judge gave, but he apparently figured out what the "Mad Lights" defense actually meant.

"Although I don't think the defendant should have worn a shirt that advertises an alternative reason for his actions. LOL It amazes me what some people will wear to court, just sayin'"

Back in the day, you showed up in court wearing at least a shirt and tie. It was about respect for the court. Now? Geez, how do you convince a judge that you have respect for the system by wearing stuff like that?
