Re: Plagiarism again

It was reported today that the publisher has yanked the book until such time as she can "revise" it. Several media outlets are reporting today that she plagiarized parts of her PhD dissertation, and the WSJ said that if they realized that an opinion piece she wrote about Nixon in 1999 was heavily plagiarized from a 1986 article in another publication, they never would have published it.

Seeing a pattern here?

There's blood in the water - you can be sure that everything she has ever published is now being scoured for evidence of plagiarism.

For those who think this is just a politically motivated distraction and doesn't matter - it matters because intellectual honesty matters. Giving her a pass on this stuff would be sending a message to our children that it's perfectly OK to take the ideas and efforts of others and claim them as your own.
