Very funny.
His "Contract With America" (or whatever he called it) listed 10 specific pieces of legislation he was going to have introduced in the first 100 days, and the only one that made it as far as the House was the AHCA, which never even got to a vote - not due to Democrat's obstruction, but due to the GOP's inability to get enough votes from their own members.
He claims to have signed more pieces of legislation than anyone else, yet more than half were just attempts to roll back regulations created by Obama or instructing departments to review programs and regulations. Not a single one was significant unless you consider renaming a post office in Samoa significant.
The only President who had a less productive first 100 days was William Henry Harrison - and that's because he died just 31 days into his term.
Then Trump tells Reuters that he thought the job would be easier. Really? Selling real estate and being a reality TV host is harder than being the leader of the free world and governing a country of over 300 million people? |
