Trump claims he invented the phrase "priming the pump"
Posted by MikeC/TX of TX on 5/12/17 7:32pm Msg #70206
In an interview with "the Economist" this week, Trump made the bizarre claim that he invented the phrase "priming the pump" when it comes to his economic policy, telling the interviewer that he had never heard the phrase before and just came up with it a couple of days ago.

According to Merriam-Webster, "priming the pump" has been in use since the early 1800's, and has been used to describe economic policy since 1933.

How sure are we that Trump even attended Wharton, much less graduated from it?
