There are pictures of Sessions just before the announcement looking absolutely giddy - he's wanted this for a long time. The excuses they both gave to justify this - especially about how the Dreamers are taking jobs and draining Social Security - are either misleading or flat out lies, but that's par for the course with this administration.
Aside from tearing apart families and ruining lives, which is devastating enough, if this is allowed to happen the economy is going to take a major hit. You can't throw several hundred thousand people out of work and shut down thousands of small businesses without there being financial repercussions. |
