Right-wingers upset with Nike's decision to use Colin Kaepernick as the face of their current "Just Do It" campaign are cutting the Nike logo off their clothes and shoes or setting fire to them. Some of them have actually had the presence of mind to remove the clothing from their body before lighting it on fire...
So let me get this straight - they're destroying clothing they have already paid for in an attempt to "own the libtards"? This is similar to Stephen Miller throwing away $80 in sushi he just paid for because he was insulted by a bartender at the restaurant. How does destroying what you own send any message other than that you're an idiot? Talk about snowflakes...
For those who are considering doing the same - rather than destroy it, think about donating it to homeless shelters for the veterans you claim to support. There are a lot of homeless vets who would not mind wearing the clothing that you no longer want to wear, and donating it would send a stronger message than destroying it. |
