Not only that, when they glue that rear view mirror on, they always fall off in the heat down here, and they are not factory issued. I am very happy to patch it up before it travels. You can feel a slight chip in the glass. We also have some sort of a black disc or rain sensor or something that is connected on top, not sure how they remount that. In any event, it never costs you anything to repair your windshield as long as you have comprehensive insurance, and it will not raise your premiums either. I would never chase someone down because of a rock hitting the windshield, it's not intentional and their insurance wouldn't pay out anyway, no proof they did it, that's why your insurance handles it. |
