As posted by others, I am curious as to how you handled the mortgage signing aka "closing".
What a Georgia attorney on the telephone with the borrower at the time or did the title insurance company provide an attorney for the borrowers to contact?
My personal interpretation of the laws and Georgia real estate attorney websites is that there are very few instances when an attorney isn't required to be present at a mortgage purchase or refinance loan. I thought the only exception was if the lender was handling it direct and in-house. |
