Well Janet, the CA Bar also tried to give similar guidance for swearing in ceremonies here in CA and I called them and shut that right down. I asked them, so how do I verify their identity via zoom? How do they sign my journal as required by law over zoom? Crickets.....then they updated their website to advise attorney's to "verify the official can perform the ceremony virtually". Also, we should all be thankful for the work that I've done in recent years against the current iteration of RON or we too would have been handed over tot he big tech wolves, because according them, they sky is falling!
