or go back to the drafter of the POA (Hopefully an attorney and not a DIY from LegalZoom or Office Depot!) - they should have a copy of the signed POA. It's possible there's a way for a certified copy of the POA to be accepted by anyone needing it - including Probate Court.

She really needs good solid legal advice. At least her significant other got the POA in order and had that part of their affairs in order.
