Since the notary has possession of the signed certificate, it probably isn't much of a practical problem, but it probably violates the law of some states.
The importance of the stamp varies by state. In many states, like New York, a stamp is not required and the certificate is complete as soon as it's signed. In those states, the stamp is just a decoration. |
