I pre fill the notary clause except for my signature and my seal. I always do that immediately after the signed has signed that document.
There is a Notary near me who doesn't complete the notary acknowledgement of jurat at the time of the signing, but instead was taking them back to her desk to complete later. Also, doesn't administer the oath.
Now with Covid-19, I was told she was giving the documents and her notary book to the signers and watching them sign through window!
There are a lot of notaries who break the law to make it quicker. |
