I use Google Maps all the time in my Census work

it's about 95% reliable for me - the other 5% is winding country roads and errors in mapping. I use Google Maps mainly but to play it safe I keep the MapQuest app on my phone; sometimes Google can't find my destination, MapQuest comes through.

It's also because of these occasional flubs in direction that I no longer do field work at night.
