Even in the fairly flat-ish towns, a fairly straight street will suddenly jog 5 or 6 feet left or right going from one block to the next for no reason I've ever been able to discern. And both in towns & out in the boonies, paper maps, internet maps and GPS will show city streets/county roads that haven't existed for decades. It's a challenge!
