As I was reading your post, I was seeing red flags all over the place. I agree with what LD said about it probably being for the title co. Dropping off docs IS the exception and not the norm, and usually only applies to special circumstances. A normal fee should assume a pre-paid shipping label. Plus, 50 minutes would require a whole lot more than $25, to me! That's like a complete other signing for the amount of time it would have been taken.
I hope you get paid for the first signing you did for them. I think you did the right thing by turning it back. |
