Too many variables. We can have a base fee and build on that.
For example: My base fee may be $150. Any additional service incurs an additional fee. If they want scan backs, $25 more. If they require Spanish, $25 more. If signing location is more than 15 miles away from my home base, additional calculations come into play. Up to 25 miles away is a simple $25 additional fee. Anything over an hour's drive away, I charge $70 per hour taking into account all time spent on that file (1 hour for administrative work, 1 hour at the signing table and however many hours to get to/from signing location). I do cover a large territory so I frequently have to run those calculations. I am willing to negotiate with my good clients -- if I'm going a long distance and they're a respectful and frequent client, perhaps I'll not charge them for one of the accessorial services (like Spanish or scan backs; one or the other, not both).
This is just my modus operandi. Each one of us should develop a business plan that works for us.
