Unbelievable!! I couldn't agree more that he's just 'preying on newbies'. That's $300 a year for the 'possible' privilege of not having to do scanbacks, for which he should be paying the notary - for EACH occurrence. That means a notary making $85 per signing has to do 3.5 signings a year for free just to break even, not counting the variable costs associated with each signing. (At $65 each, it's 4.6 signings for free, not to mention that there's precious little profit made at that rate anyway.)
It would make more sense if he offered to pay the notary just $25/mo for scanbacks, but even that would be a rip-off, IMO. SMH...
