Hopefully you've already figured it out by now, but in CA, wills are generally not ever notarized (nor called a 'testament'), just witnessed, so it sounds like it might be a document someone either pulled from the internet or drew up themselves. If so, these can be especially dicey situations, where signers sometimes try to wring advice from the notary. Giving any kind of advice is considered the Unauthorized Practice of Law (UPL), and strictly prohibited.
Those reasons are probably a big part of why Yoli and pdl suggested more study before you try to take on something like this. BTW, where did you go to get your required training when you renewed your commission? Perhaps your questions should be directed to that source...?
