I know what you mean about your County Recorder! They'll even reject a personalized certificate where the appropriate pronoun is the only one shown, instead of showing the full "he/she/they" and circling the right one (even when box is complete...) Anymore, when I see one of those (usually on a document prepared by an attorney's office), I ask signers if there's a chance the document will ever get recorded in Sacramento County. ![Wink](/images/expWink.gif)
BTW, is it possible the 'already recorded deeds' predate the implementation of the disclaimer box? That might explain some of them, but I doubt it would cover all, as I see that missing all too often myself. Clearly, not every notary is as conscientious as you are! |
