I was originally scheduled to do a signing that was $150 for a 90page refi package. Two days before the appointment, I got seven property packages from escrow, all refis. It was the signer's personal residence plus six investment properties. In fairness, this wasn't someone trying to swindle me into doing 7x work for the pay, it was an honest and understandable communication error, and they were happy to renegotiate the fees accordingly. I ended up billing $750, which gave a $25 discount/package. Yup, a full day's pay for about 3.5 hours of work between printing, driving, and signing. I was very happy.  |
