That's my determining factor. For me the answer is "No".
Everyone in my office has new laptops with W10 and love it. When I buy a new laptop, hopefully not for a few years, I will have to use W10 and that's fine. Deal with it then.
For now, one laptop is whizzing along with W7 and the other with W8 configured to act and look like W7. What's the logic in changing? A future upgrade cost? I will use that cost towards a new computer thank you.
W7 and W8 are still being supported by MS and will continue to be so until perhaps my next purchase.
Like buying a new car when the old model is super-reliable and gets great mileage. Don't get me started on needing to get rid of oldie but goodie cars. Have only purchased two new cars in my life!
I get around without taking a bus, upkeep is minimal, park them in the garage and take care of them. I'm happy! |
