.... some of it is BIG numbers.... don't know what is going on there - but I always use the Settlement because that is the latest info for Buyers. We all know technology has been moving the mortgage industry along.... I accept reasonable change - as we all must - however, I question my having to PAY from my pocket ANY money, whether they call it a platform useage fee, commission, or membership! Let's test that on the appraisers, realtors, attorneys, mtg brokers too! How bout Title, too? A signing will never change.... someone at the table will have questions, arguments, corrections and so on. I'm very willing to do eClosings and if California figures it out, the Remote Closings as well. I'm sure we are all curious and want to try it - just to see. |
